A solution that adapts, standardizes, and expands Patient-Generated Health Data models across clinical settings
Patient Generated Health Data (PGHD)

EXVACATION
Why PGHD
-
Work towards a solution that increases engagement to improve the health of patients through transparency and shared decision-making.
-
Understand users' (patients and clinicians) interaction with PROMS. More importantly, we wanted to better understand their pain points and motivations around engaging with surveys
Role
Research, User Experience Design
Research methods
The primary goal is to evaluate, analyze, and strategize ways to advance user engagement and improve visualization of both active and passive forms of PGHD. This includes optimizing aggregate-level functions to work successfully in tandem with each other as a joint system. This also includes care redesign and measuring population health within learning health systems.
Research goal
Patient Reported Outcome Measures or PROMSs is a series of forms with questions related to physical and emotional wellbeing:
Patient Reported Outcome Measures (PROMs)
PHYSICAL
•Purpose of visit
•Activity level
•Pain level
•Questions about symptoms
•Function level before and after ailment
EMOTIONAL
•Anxiety level
•Depression level

Where and how is the impact of PROMs lost?
